forbidden poetry. And is apparently an amazing kisser...

                          has bright amber eyes.

When I first saw this picture on tumblr, Alex immediately popped up in my head! I just had to share this picture with you because this guy, whose name I unluckily don't know, sort of looks like how I imagined Alex.

Alex is a great character in the book that you just can't not fall in love with so if you'd like a piece of him you can catch him in Delirium by Lauren Oliver! =)

Publisher: by St. Martin's Press
Age Group: Young Adult

ebook 320 pages

In the Community, there is no more pain or war. Implanted computer chips have wiped humanity clean of destructive emotions, and thoughts are replaced by a feed from the Link network.

When Zoe starts to malfunction (or "glitch"), she suddenly begins having her own thoughts, feelings, and identity. Any anomalies must be immediately reported and repaired, but Zoe has a secret so dark it will mean certain deactivation if she is caught: her glitches have given her uncontrollable telekinetic powers.

As Zoe struggles to control her abilities and stay hidden, she meets other glitchers including Max, who can disguise his appearance, and Adrien, who has visions of the future. Both boys introduce Zoe to feelings that are entirely new. Together, this growing band of glitchers must find a way to free themselves from the controlling hands of the Community before they’re caught and deactivated, or worse.

In this action-packed debut, Glitch begins an exciting new young adult trilogy.

So basically the ebook version (right picture) comes out on August 7th 2012. I'm not sure if the Paperback format (left picture) comes out the same day or later!
Anyhow don't the book covers look absolutely fabulous?! And the storyline just sound soo Amazing!!! I can't wait to have this book in my hands!! ^^

Format: Hardcover: 443
pages

Is Rose's fate to kill the person she loves most? It's springtime at St. Vladimir's Academy, and Rose Hathaway is this close to graduation. Since Mason's death, Rose hasn't been feeling quite right. She has dark flashbacks in the middle of practice, can't concentrate in class, and has terrifying dreams about Lissa. But Rose has an even bigger secret .... She's in love with Dimitri. And this time, it's way more than a crush. Then Strigoi target the academy in the deadliest attack in Moroi history, and Dimitri is taken. Rose must protect Lissa at all costs, but keeping her best friend safe could mean losing Dimitri forever...

 Discussion/Thoughts:

three words....OH.MY.GOD.
I read Shadow kiss, the third book in the Vampire Academy series by Michelle Mead, around 2 weeks ago and I LOVED IT!!! I think it's the best book so far ( I haven't read the 4th-6th one yet..BUT I ordered the 4th and 5th yesterday!! YAYYY =DD)

I haven't written a review for the previous books yet because I didn't had the time to but I will gladly do so if you want me to!

Anyway Shadow Kiss, how AWESOME was it???? I don't know about you but the ending just killed me!
I was for RosexDimitri the first 2 books but in the third, after they "made love" while she was still mentally unstable ( after what had happened) I was really pissed at Dimitri. I mean it was sort of cute yeah but I don't know... I think it happened at a really wrong time!
I was really sad after she found out that Dimitry became a Strigoi! I could really feel her pain! But I have to admit that I'm feeling attracted to Adrian more and more! I don't know if I should though because I don't think he will be the one ending up with Rose in the end, even tough I kind of hope so! I really don't know if I should cheer for RosexDimitri or RosexAdrian...ARGHHH it's driving me crazy!!

Then there was Mason! I loved him and I was really sad that Rose didn't really cared about him as much as I wanted her to! I mean he was such a nice guy and I think that he at least deserved a big thank you and a tear from Rose at the end! She was just like " Oh Hi Mason! U gotta go? Oh well ok farewell! Cheers!" -.-'

And then there's Lissa! I just don't like her! She seems really selfish to me! I mean yeah she helps people with her "gift to heal people", but the way she treats Rose, like a "slave", I just don't like it!! I mean yeah, Rose is indeed a Guardian and stuff but still, she is your BFF as well!!

Anywayy I would like to know what you thought about this book! Like, who do you want her to end up with?

I'm DYING to read the 4th book OMG!!! xO

Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Release Date: February 1st 2011
Publisher: by HarperCollins Children’s Books
Age Group: Young Adult
Format: Hardcover, 441 pages

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen.
Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

What I thought:

Delirium was the first dystopian book I read so I was a bit sceptical and didn’t know what to expect.
Lauren Oliver, though, was able to pull me into the story right from the start. It surpassed all my expectations! I found this book brilliant and totally believable.

This book made me think a lot. Imagine a world without love!? Would you want to live there? I would certainly not. I mean love has its problems and negative aspects but love makes us what we are. This is what Lena comes to realize through the book.

Lena, the main character in the book, transforms from someone who opposes the idea of love to someone who is all head over heels for love which makes the story really interesting.

I’m not going to spoil too much because I think this is a book you should just read!
The ending is quite heart-breaking and I can’t wait to read Pandemonium!!!

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

Release Date: September 27th 2011
Publisher: by Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
Age Group: Young Adult
Hardcover
, 452 pages

Mara Dyer doesn't think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.

It can.

She believes there must be more to the accident she can't remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.

She doesn't believe that after everything she's been through, she can fall in love.

She's wrong.

What I thought:

This book was Scary, Suspenseful and Amazing

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was one of my absolute favourite books of 2011! It was different than most of the YA fantasy paranormal books I’ve read so far.

I’m not going to spoil anything, not because I want to torture you, but because I’m doing you a favour!!

HOWEVER I’m going to tell you a bit what I thought about the characters in this book and why I liked this book so much!

First of all Mara, the main character of the book, is great! I loved how strong she is and also the great relationship she has with her family especially with her older brother (which you don’t find in many YA books).
Then there’s Noah the superhot mysterious guy with a “teasing attitude” that you just can’t not love!

And then, of course, there’s the whole creepy hot and scary story that will keep you glued to the page until you finish it.
Oh and I nearly forgot…the big cliff-hanger at the end just makes you crave for more!

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Release Date: December 6th, 2011
Publisher: Entangled Publishing
Age Group: Young Adult
Paperback: 266 pages

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

What I thought:

Ok, so…please…let’s talk about Daemon! ♫DAEMON♪ come onnnnn doesn’t just the name scream: SEXYYY PURE BADASS HOTNESS ??!! I think it does!

Daemon is the most amazing part in this book! Basically the reason you should actually start reading this book in the first place!
Jennifer was once again able to make me giggle like a silly girl whenever Daemon had those hot bad boy moments…*drool*
The book was truly friggin hotsome! I loved the main heroine Katy! She sort of reminded me  of myself
(only that I, on the other hand, haven’t met a Daemon in my life yet lol).
Katy is a sweet, innocent “boring” girl who prefers reading books and running a book blog instead of going out and doing typical “teenage” stuff.
But when she first sees Daemon….HAHA well even the most innocent girl in the world can’t resist but fantasize about him! Even though she’s normally a nice girl, Daemon brings out the bad out of her making the whole story a lot more interesting!

Then there’s Lissa, Daemons sister and Katy’s new bff who is kind of annoying at the beginning but I came to really like her near the end.
And of course there is the a lot of supernatural stuff going on which just makes the whole story even more entertaining!

Obsidian is a book you don’t want to miss!
